A Blackbird seen from kitchen window pecking at a crust of bread. Unmelted snow lay on its tail as more snow fell.

  1. You have great talent Andrew. I am a very keen gardener and as such I take an interest in birds. They eat the slugs and other creepies. They sing to me as I am weeding. Although the pigeons think a brassica bed is their restaurant, I still love them. Nester.

    1. Thankyou Nester. Birds in the garden are thin on the ground around here unfortunately but when they do appear I make the most of them and everything stops while I get the sketch pad out! Needless to say we are inundated with slugs, Caterpillars and lots of other invertebrate beasts. Glad you like the blog. All the best. Andrew
